Copyright and Takedown Requests
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Crunchify.net shows material that other people supply: recipes, photos, boards and tier lists that people publish, and book covers and catalogue data that come from Hardcover, whose images are uploaded by its own users. If something here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will take it down.
Where to send a notice
Email [email protected]. Please do not use the public GitHub issue tracker: a notice carries your name and contact details, and anything posted there is public.
What a notice must contain
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed.
- The material on Crunchify.net you want removed, with its address (the URL of the page or the image) so we can find it.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We check that the notice is complete, and ask for what is missing if it is not. Once it is, we remove the material or stop it being shown, usually within a few days, and reply to say so. Where we have a way to reach the person who published it, we tell them it was removed and why.
Removal stops Crunchify.net serving the material. Copies already saved in a visitor's own browser or device cannot be recalled.
Counter-notices
If you published something that was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with:
- The material that was removed and where it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and phone number.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which Crunchify.net may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We pass a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may put the material back.
Repeat infringers
We stop publishing content from an account that repeatedly publishes material it has no right to share.
Everything else about using the site is in the Terms of Service.
